About Us

My name is Janee, and I have proudly served as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for three years. With nine years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and a total of eleven years in the mental health sector, I have interacted with individuals ranging from toddlers to adults in their fifties. My work has involved a diverse array of behaviors, including severe self-injurious actions and communication challenges.

I established Unboxed Sensory Society based on my observations in the field. I found that many parents were often hesitant or anxious about taking their children into community settings. Despite the center-based ABA therapy their children received, there was a significant need for more community-oriented and practical parent training, as well as support groups for parents encountering similar issues. With this understanding, I am committed to fulfilling that need.
